So the 99 Miata I picked up looks like it must have triggered the sensors in the airbag module despite it not setting off any airbags. This seems to be the common reason why you get blink code 2 (bad computer) followed by blind code 6 (drivers airbag). I've already taken a look at the airbag assembly and everything there is fine and correct but the light still flashes which further points to the computer. Doing the plug trick at the steering wheel itself did not seem to change anything. Does anyone know how to get to the bulb in the dashboard easily?
