'The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. I just built my first system. The machine posts and I can get into BIOS no problem. BIOS sees both HD and DVD. Boot Priority is set to DVD. When I put in the WIN7 disc and reboot I get this error. I got a solution when you boot into your CD, it will display “CDBOOT:COULDN’T FIND BOOTMGR” right? So what you’re going to do is press ctrl+alt+del and the system will restart. And when it automatically boot to your CD, your problem is fixed. Hope it helps.

Do you want to just copy the DVD to usb flash? will that get you pass the problems?


Q: Does Mac Mini have trouble with internal (or external) superdrives and booting Windows DVD from there?


How to burn ISO image on Mac:


The real trouble with Disk Utility is you have to use the absolute slowest burn speed to burn a Windows 7 DVD.


Just trying to understand, not a solution, but to flush out the underlying problem.
